This week we have a Sketch challenge for you but you need to use a SPRING theme with it!! Use the below sketch for your challenge and show us your idea of spring!! You can flip, twist, jump over, whatever ya want with the sketch, as long as we can clearly see the sketch when we look at your project!

****Hello, my name is Angela Wood and I am so thrilled to be the guest designer this week at Sew Many Challenges. I really love to craft and have been crafting since I was child. Now that I have children, I have a great time crafting with my 2 girls and introducing them to rubber stamping.

This week, I wanted to do an Easter themed project. My daughter was born on the Good Friday before Easter 11 years ago so Easter has always been a special holiday for me. On the day, we mourn the death of Jesus, I was blessed with the birth of my first daughter (sniff.. now I'm getting emotional :0)). So I created this Easter basket.

The instructions for the basket construction can be found at the Just Magnolia Challenge blog. I used this sweet rabbit from Sew Many Cards - Jovi, my papers are from K & Co., I embellished with pearls, ribbon, lace, prima flowers, a cross charm, and several different Martha Stewart punches. I colored my image with my favorite medium, copic markers and I also added white crushed velvet flock to Jovi's chest area. I hope you like it? So my challenge to you is to create something with an Easter theme. Can't wait to see what you come up with. hugs, Angela Wood***

"I started my business in 1993 to give me something to do. I had worked all my life and recently quit to be a stay at home mom to my new baby. I've always been interested in paper products and I didn't like paying full price for some of the things I wanted. So I started my business. I like to pass my savings on to others. I've made some really good friends over the years. I've always been a small business I only advertise word of mouth. Over the years I've kept as busy as I wanted to be.
It has been very interesting to see the hobby industry change over the years. I had a "scrapbook" store in my basement before Las Vegas knew what a scrapbook store was. I've dealt with Provo Craft the entire 17 years I've been in business and that has been fun, to watch them change!! The Cricut Messageboard has allowed me to expand my business but still do it "word of mouth".
That baby is almost 17 (March) and will be graduating HS in 2011, I will be ready to be busier at that time!
She uses my supplies more then I do, I have decided I'm a collector of everything. I have more fun selling and helping others then I do creating. Maybe someday, when times are slower or I'm not being a "Taxi Mom" I can create.
Until then, I collect!"
